"Data Strata" presents a landscape of fragmented information. The composition is built from horizontal bands of color, reminiscent of geological layers or corrupted digital files. Blocks of solid black interrupt the colorful strata, suggesting redacted data or moments of signal loss.
This contemporary drawing is created through a process where an algorithm guides a robotic arm to draw the image line by line with physical pens. Each line is physically drawn by a pen plotter, creating a unique texture and depth.
- Pens: Fineliner pens
- Paper: Bristol art paper
- Plot Size: A3 (29.7 x 42.0 cm / 11.7 x 16.5 inches)
- Frame: The artwork is mounted in a slim, black aluminum frame with a clean, modern profile.
-
Signature: Signed by the artist.
A sophisticated statement piece for any modern interior, "Data Strata" resonates with themes of technology, information, and the beauty found in digital imperfection.
Common questions
Is this art original?
Yes. Everything here is an original.
Because of the nature of the process, it is not possible to make two identical pieces.
Even when the same code or same stencil are used, the result is always unique.
I do not sell reproductions or digital copies.
Where do you ship?
Abstract paintings (on stretchers)
Due to their size and fragile nature, these only ship within Portugal.
The exception: If you are willing to have the canvas re-stretched by a local framer, I can remove it from the stretchers and ship it rolled in a sturdy tube. Contact me before purchase if you need this option.
Pen plots & Hand prints
These can travel. I ship them internationally.
How much does shipping cost?
The rate depends entirely on the artwork's size, weight, and your final destination.
You will see the final, calculated shipping cost at checkout before you pay.
Can I commission a piece?
No. My work follows its own path and each piece is the result of a spontaneous emotional process.
